Madeleine



These are France's go to cookie when she needs something really fast.


Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 6 tablespoons melted butter

  • 3 beaten eggs

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons orange or lemon extract

  • 1 cup flour

Instructions

  1. Mix butter, sugar, eggs and extract.

  2. Add flour and mix.

  3. Bake in greased madeleine molds (shell shaped) at 350° for 7-9 minutes until edges are golden brown and the middle is puffed up.

  4. Let cool.

  5. Remove and dip in melted chocolate.
