Blueberry Muffins



This is one of France's favorites, as such, it is on the sweeter side.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup softened butter

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 cups flour

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp almond extract (optional)

  • 1 cup blueberries (frozen or fresh)

Topping

  • 3 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar.

  2. Mix together dry ingredients then add and mix well.

  3. Slowly add milk and vanilla.

  4. Fold in blueberries.

  5. Fill greased muffin pan 2/3 full.

  6. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon for topping. Crumble topping on muffins.

  7. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
