This is one of France's favorites, as such, it is on the sweeter side.
1/2 cup softened butter
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp almond extract (optional)
1 cup blueberries (frozen or fresh)
3 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Cream butter and sugar.
Mix together dry ingredients then add and mix well.
Slowly add milk and vanilla.
Fold in blueberries.
Fill greased muffin pan 2/3 full.
Mix brown sugar and cinnamon for topping. Crumble topping on muffins.
Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
